Skip Broom

After acquiring a degree in economics  and a short lived business career in NYC, Skip moved to the Connecticut River Valley to pursue his dream of restoring antique homes.  Over the last forty years, Skip has been instrumental in saving numerous historic properties throughout New England and he was one of the early pioneers in the salvaging of the antique to be repurposed for today’s living.  His keen sense of design and meticulous attention to detail of classical architecture has awarded him recognition as one of the premier renovators in the region.

In his spare time, Skip enjoys documenting the Connecticut landscape through the lens of his camera and has won numerous awards for his photography.

Recipient of numerous national awards, Bill thoroughly enjoys working with Clients and Architects alike.

Bill is often found walking his dog MacColin among the many Lyme Land Trust Trails, and pursing his love of vintage motorsports through his own racing and car renovations.
