Formerly the home of Edith Hamilton, renowned author and Greek mythology scholar, and her sister Dr Alice Hamilton, pioneer advocate for health and safety in the workplace, this house sits majestically on the banks of the CT River. After their passing, the house fell into disrepair and was condemned by the local authorities. The new owner tore down unwanted additions. and completely restored the main house and added a kitchen addition that takes advantage of the magnificent river views.
